LET MY PEOPLE GO

The exhibition «Let My People Go!» opened on March 20. Paintings and graphics sounded in the gallery space like a street band. Personal intonation of the each artist merged into a powerful cry, the only demand for freedom: “Let my people go!».
Vozdvizhenka Arts House presented the “Biruchiy” – a unique art-residence on the Azov Sea, where the artists have already been collaborating over 10 years, the young artists and masters – in the name of art, for the sake of collective work, in spite of the politics and war.
The exposition «Let My People Go!» connected very different artists: high emblematic Oleksandr Zhyvotkov, symbolism of Anna Gidora, Volodymyr Gulich’s pop art , semantic structure of Viktor Pokydanets , Nina Murashkina’s ruddy vitality, concentrated on the density of the “black hole” the pattern by Artem Volokitin, joyful travesty of Tetiana Malynovska, Iuri Pikul’s classical deconstruction, the iconic posters of Iuri Efanov, Neogean Myroslav Waida, traveling into the surface of Vitaliy Kokhan, Ksenia Hnylytska’s куыгдеы of close monitoring, Andrei Zelinsky’s sarcasm, Aleksei Ialovega’s graphics, the visionary Bestiary by Oleksa Mann, the social preparation by Alina Iakubenko and super-graphics by APL 315. Arts, graphics, video were connected in a polyphony of the senses and meanings.
